Tribal Welfare
Being unaware of their existing problem of survival, the Tribal People do not seek any solution. Hence, they are
never on the path of progress. They remain isolated for generations together and hardly nurture any dream
about a prospective future. The essence of Tribal welfare lies in this understanding and paving the way to
create a dream for the future.
Fallow Land & Tribal Inhabitation
Fallow land & tribal inhabitation have a peculiar correlation. We started intervening in 2010 on a piece of
fallow land in the Garhbeta III district adjacent to a Tribal village with the concept of introducing lac cultivation.
We promoted the training, cultivation and a regular income-generating process. A primary health care centre
was also introduced with the facility of an ambulance. This exercise revealed how to lead a complete life with
basic facilities.
Two additional projects commenced in 2015 in the Jhargram District's Gopiballavpur 1 Block. The goal of these
initiatives was to recover 75 acres of fallow land, and the participants were people from minority ethnic
groups.
